Dawn Slanker - In The Garden (failed pantoum)

In The Garden br br Upon Spring's birth, Winter's death. br Seeds and eggs and babes abound. br At last we smell Earth's heaving breath; br a fragrance tilled from from 'neath the ground. br br Seeds and eggs and babes abound. br Passively, they bide their time br a fragrance tilled from 'neath the ground br drink in the fruit of heady wine. br br Passively, they bide their time. br They labor to reach the highest clouds. br Drink in the fruit of heady wine br as Summer draws in the crowds. br br They labor to reach the highest clouds br Dead heat begins to wane and chill br as Summer draws in the crowds br and ushers Autumn over the hill. br br Dead heat begins to wane and chill br as cool Winter winds begin br and ushers Autumn over the hill br Then Spring is born again.
