Before I lay my head to rest- br I've some things left to say. br Please dear God don't bury me br Before the dawn of day. br br Angels keep me safe and smile: br As I toss and turn. br Naughty dreams, stay far from me. br For God only I yearn. br br Know you of my early sins; br Drugs, the touch, and all. br Bolt my feet tight to a cloud; br At night I'll never fall. br br Lastly, take my pain away: br Uneasiness and stress. br Know I not religion, br But I've heard it works the best. br br This I promise I will do: br Sin all day 'til ten. br Then I'll come right back to you- br This I pray.
