All I ever wanted was a peaceful life, br but all I ever got was trouble br and a lot of strife. br I wanted at times br was to be left alone in my own company, br but always people wanted to crowd me, br for what reason I’m not sure. br I still long for peace and quiet br something I never seem to get. br I want to sit and dream at times br without being disturbed. br However, that is easier said than done br for every quiet moment I seem to get br someone wants to disturb it with endless chatter br I don’t care much about. br So I close my ears br and hope that they will go away.
