Neethi (10 Aug 1990) - Leaving School

Neethi (10 Aug 1990) - Leaving School

Embossed in its very air, br the (now) precious tomfooleries, br the endless repartee on trivialities, br and the freedom br to craft newer ways to err. br br I put down a loaded bag, br leaving the old books, br to lift another equally hefty. br One that carries br the fruit of duties, deeds and discipline. br br My feet, alongside the entrance br which once stood so tall, br timidly stride on a new course. br And perhaps, br would create a few of their own. br br Hauled by nostalgia, I stop br and give a last parting glance br to my fourteen-year-old dwelling, br only to realize br that it had taken me in for-ever.
