A.P.J ABDULKALAM-OUR BELOVED EX PRESIDENT br br br There is a look of concern in your eyes. br Your grey eyebrows rise above often. br Making every one listen to your earnest words, br Eagerness for perfection, impatience for work br br I love your well groomed silvery grey hair, br Neatly curled on both sides of your forehead, br Making a cartoonist look after you very well br Your eyes shine with a torch of intelligence br Goes into any depth in search of something- br -from everything, beyond mysteries of world, br br Your scientific mind explores all around. br A grain of sand to derivations of galaxies, br A microbe, to fossils of life forms, br Entropy to mass, time and space, to black holes, br Travelling through the time and space, br You are sitting on a celestial cloud. br Holding lines of those five white stallions, br Wheeling on a chariot of glory, dispensing- br - Wisdom from epics of your life, br You glide high, surfing swiftly in high waves; br Balancing the weight of different religions, br Stalling, cryogenics of statesmanship br br You are the salt of the earth, holding the icon of this land, br Where, great sages did penance. br Spiritual masters strode through; making this ancient land divine. br Enriching her soil with fertility of their thoughts, br Buddhists, Jains, the Zoroastrians, the Sufis, all preached harmony, br Implanting seeds of tranquillity br br Oh our beloved saintly President! br You are so adorable and pride of our nation. br We bow our head before you in obeisance br Our children need you as a great grandpa.
