Where is compassion Lord where has it gone br Where is the peace for which we all long br The world is indifferent cruel and cold br The people have gotten evil and bold br We must think of the goodness of a loving God br Jesus carrying the cross as to calvary he trod br He died for all sinners that's you and me br Jesus laid down his life in agony br The world has forgotten his sacrifice br And how our savior paid the awful price br To teach us to love and to have compassion br Stop hating each other stop the bashing br We can't seem to forgive and try to forget br I know Jesus is sad his tears falling yet br That we have no compassion and no respect br Our prayers go unanswered they have no effect br Because we are holding evil in our heart br And forgiveness is something we never let part br The devil is busy his demons are too br If he can hold you in bondage that's what he will do br Make no mistake with God you're well protected br The devil can't harm you unless you elect it br Prayer is the key that unlocks heaven's door br Ask for forgiveness and compassion then let your spirit soarbr br Georgia Rose Mclane Collinsbr br
