Bjorn Visser - Yellow Flowers

Bjorn Visser - Yellow Flowers

I silently gasp as the paper flutters to the floor br Is this a signal of the end? br the last pictures, our last hour? br br I wait, patiently yet fighting with myself br the nightmare of you returns br picking yellow flower br I cry as they let the answers I fear free br br Are you gone now? br leaving? br Wondering in amazement, are you true? br is the paper fluttering to the floor the sign? br Will it signal the shattering of glass br the breakdown of a country br the release of a silent gasp. br br I feared the answers, for freedom they to ruin br I wonder, Stare, Cry. br br Sunlight enters my room as the shadows flee. br the answers run along, they cant be seen in the light. br A whistle released as a beggar loves all br love, you once whispered that word upon me. br br Was this what the world thought I deserved? br Silently picking the yellow flowers you used to love. br Maybe it is all that I deserve br To be reminded of you ever burning light br br your pictures. br scattered all over the floor. br a thousand and one, now. none. br br And as I cry, patient yet in pain br You walk past. and with a simple gesture. br a silent emotionless wave. br Your pale hands release my pain. br I close my eyes.
