The appointed time my God shall keep br To wake our loved ones from their sleep. br A joyous choir He then shall raise br Up from the Earth to sing Him praise. br Oh, how thankful shall we be br When all Creation is set free- br When even mortal flesh from Earth br Shall be transformed in second birth. br Even now His promises are seen br In ancient trees anewed with green, br When Spring ascends up from the ground br And Life in every shape is found. br It tells again my God is true; br Our loved ones, too, He shall renew. br br The bud is promise of the flower- br The evidence of God's power.
