There are lots of memories locked away br within the shadows of my mind. br Memories of childhood years gone by br and they are located in the dark recesses br awaiting one day to escape from br within the shadows of my mind. br We tend to hide away br the sad things in our lives, br locking them away br never to see again the light of day. br We wish not to resurrect br all their sadness and pain. br Therefore, we store them away br within the shadows of our mind. br In the shadows, hold many tragedies br of which we do not want to relive. br The pain grows constantly br just thinking of them again. br So as I close each chapter br of my life as it unfolds br the memories that bring br the most pain are locked away br within the shadows of my mind.
