All of the words I want to say br Some other poet has said br In such a stupendously marvelous way br That they just cry out to be read. br So many beautiful poems br Express what I want to express; br For me to say it again br Would be mere presumptuousness. br My words would be a regression br In the light of their thorough address, br Yet my thoughts cry out for expression; br I'll just have to say them I guess br And hope that beside the great masters br My efforts will not be in vain, br And somewhere in the ages hereafter br Someone will read them again br And see the need though my prism br And somehow recognize why br Those words were torn from the bosom br Of one so unworthy as I.
