The thorns from the red roses I received br Pricked my finger to make me bleed br As my finger bled red br The red roses turned black br br The black roses drained my blood br Until I had no strength left to stand br I fell to the floor with nothing left to see br Depression sets in as I fall asleep br br I woke to find myself in darkness br Only to rise again in the light br The black roses bleeding me to near death br But with the thorns no longer in my finger tip br br The hole left in it was still bleeding br And the blood dripped on roses br Turning them blacker than they were before.
