Bleeding Heart br Pain, Pain, Pain br Everyday I feel this way inside. br Pain is part of everything I do now. br I live with a bleeding heart. br I suffered much pain throughout my life. br That I have changed along the way. br My heart has changed from all the painful ordeals I have endured. br I live with a bleeding heart. br I am living a lie. br Keeping who I truly am inside. br I can no longer see my face in my own reflection. br I live with a bleeding heart. br Words spill across the lines of a page. br I have allowed myself one comfort. br And one comfort only. br I live with a bleeding heart. br My single comfort is words. br My soul bleeds on paper. br It causes pain within me…but, also, a burden is lifted. br I live with a bleeding heart. br I want to be the person that lives inside. br But my bleeding heart won’t let me. br I have allowed my heart to control my every action. br I live with a bleeding heart. br I slowly secede to them. br I slowly secede to the tears. br I slowly secede to the tears that bleed inside. br I live with a bleeding heart. br There is blood scattered across this paper. br That is my soul bleeding. br I wonder when the bleeding will end. br I live with a bleeding heart.
