David Harris - A Real Friend

David Harris - A Real Friend

There are times when all of us br have that empty feeling in our heart. br We are not sure which way to turn br and our life seems so burnt out. br As we look all around, br those who said they were friends br have evaporated, disappeared and are gone. br We seem to have nothing to hold onto anymore. br The pit in which we’ve fallen br get deeper with every day, br there is no handholds br to grab onto anywhere. br Our life seems to be passing away, br then within the gloom and sadness br two strong arms reach out, br they grab us and slowly begin to lift us out. br When we are finally free br we want to thank this friend, br but they want no thanks at all. br Only that you be there for them br whenever they might fall. br They simply reply that real friends br are always there for you, br twenty-four seven everyday br in hope that you will be there br for them in the same way.
