Birds waking me up in the morning light. br I know today will turn out all right br Today is going to be full of fun. br I can’t wait to be in the morning sun. br Walking alone in the most beautiful trees br All I can feel upon my skin is the breeze. br My thoughts and imagination go free br All I want is to spend time is with me. br People wonder if everything is okay br Times like these I just don’t know what to say. br They know that I will move on in time. br Deep down I know that I will be fine. br I want you to know that I’ve moved on. br Please now that I won’t forget that you are gone. br It has been tough to move on without you. br For awhile my heart I swear was in two. br I thought we might be with each other. br You will always be in my thoughts forever br I never expected to fall in love with you, my friend. br Thinking about you will help me in the end. br Never knowing that you’ll be with me through good and bad br Please know that I’ll move on in time, but will always be sad. br I know this poem will have to come to an end soon. br I can’t seem to stop writing even though its high noon. br So now my friend I should probably say good-bye br I know that you are happy and you now have the wings to fly.
