Mrs. Cynosure - Under An Oak Tree*

Mrs. Cynosure - Under An Oak Tree*

The leaves of my soul crunch beneath my feet br With the many pieces of me br They all collapse without the other half br br Wind telling them secrets br The flowers singing them songs br But all of them horror br Saddened lies and deceit br br The sent of a green tree so sweet and desirable br Just stands behind me to protect his prize br A rose gently swaying in the breeze br If carefully picked she might know how to please br br Then yet again like a man of waves and fire br A man of stone and beard br Once said all women are like snakes br Not all snakes are venomous br But all snakes are deadly br I am different br And this he sees br Very easy to please br All I want is to laugh br To smile and to give br This he does br br The wind in my hair is so great br But I know the evilness it holds br The secrets it tells br Dares not to share them with me br Blowing the pages in my journal around br Like a teen to its mother br br br The fresh due tickling my finger tips br As if feathers trying to make me sneeze br Warming my cooled face br The reds and yellows spying into my eyes br To see what I’m dreaming about br I see as I open my eyes br I was just sleeping under the oak treebr br Mrs.
