Sylvia Chidi - Justice

Sylvia Chidi - Justice

For those who reap us of thousands of grand’s br Lavish their wealth on treasures of the land br Justice often does us no right on this stand br For it gives the culprits only a helping hand br br Justice is sometimes wrong br Justice is meant to be honour br Justice is sometimes strong br Justice is meant to be society’s formidable cure br br With words I can create drama br With written words I cannot stammer br But Justice will do us no right in this drama br For I am called black but I got a white mama br br In vain I see no reasonable sense br In this precluded abstract nonsense br And as Justice wears again its white robes br I sincerely hope that it will always accurately probe br br Copyright 2008 - Sylvia Chidi br br www.sylviachidi.
