Deer hunting time is here again br And many hunters take to the woods br After months of planning with family and friends br They gather in common brotherhood br br It's a freedom that fills the soul of a man br With the peace of God's nature all around br Lessons that have been taught since time began br And lifelong memories and friendships are found br br Hunting is taught by tradition still yet br Knowledge passed on from man to man br And you'll learn things that you'll never forget br And respect nature more, our wildlife, and our land br br So all you hunters enjoy this time br May you be skilled and have lots of luck br May God bless you as you hunt today br And may you bag that ten point buck! ! br br br Dedicated to my Father who enjoyed hunting with family and friends all of his life.
