My cart horse was a hindrance br Toiling slowly up ahead br Plodding unproductively br From break of day till bed br br Forming rutted furrows br On a well worn clichéd track br So I unhitched him from out in front br And tied him to the back br br If he could not lead quicker br When my mind was in a rush br My view ahead was slicker br When I made the bugger push br br And better still when off the track br This cumbersome caboose br It flew with nought to hold me back br I’d let the horse go loose.
