Fay Slimm - A Quiet Disguise.

Fay Slimm - A Quiet Disguise.

Face turning pale, her breath failed with a start. br Being half-loved had dissembled her heart. br br Quietly subdued, yet inwardly weeping br Over news, that 'tho discreetly taken, br Was shockingly hard.. Scars she'd been keeping br Warily disguised, she yet quite shaken, br Disclosed to her soul. Alone now, wholey br Inept at accepting this mind-blowing br Note. She would miss him so much, this going br She knew would leave holes that she couldn't show. br br Admitting her treasure could always erode, br And future dreams be dissolved, now events br Uncover routine as unseemly. Exploding br With disbelief, grieving, she later repents. br Knowing her life as already ordered br By sometimes tortured assent, she borders br Now on disquieting alarm, this scheming br To please the unpleaseable leaches her. br br Drop by wearying drop, her heart leaning br Towards dulling acceptance, now subsides br Into half-life again. Hopes once believed br Are left hanging by threads spread so finely. br She hardly now measures a truth from a lie. br Knowing well how to disguise, she just sighs.
