When I woke up this morning br My world was layered in white br So cold it was and very still br Snow had fallen through the night br br No birds chirped a good morning br The bugs were hidden away br Instead was this harsh cold br I felt as though it would stay br br I could barely see my lawn chair br For white had settled so thick br I wished I had seen it fall br This snow as it began to stick br br The trees and bushes were br A fresh and lovely sight br Snow decorated the branches br Making winter look just right br br We must enjoy the changes br So lovely and cold and bright br It will not last for long br This wonderful world of white!br br Marilyn Lottbr br
