Samanyan Lakshminarayanan - MANU'S VARNA

Samanyan Lakshminarayanan - MANU'S VARNA

The colour and creed - that br Manu gave br Set rules - put one above the other- br to bring in some order - br it will help people to live together br Manu said. br br Varnas there were four br The thinker, The fighter, The seller and The toiler. br The head, The body, The abdomen and the foot. br The co-ordination between the four - did it br give the real colour to life. br br Even great people like the 'Mahatma' and 'bharathiar' - br were 'FOR' the Varnas br The discrimination they accepted- any br inhuman aspect in it they rejected. br br Bharathiar would say 'Living within the varna- br marrying within it- would emancipate man sooner' br Mahatma would say - br ' A handed down profession is always better'. br br Even in todays India- where the br broad four is no more relevent- br where everybody is stepping into any shoe available. br Even in todays India- after ages- br The colour instead of fading has darkened. br br The money can come from anywhere-but- br The distinctness in their birth they would'nt spare. br Manu's varna was just a pattern-after all br Everybody has a head, body, abdomen and a foot.
