I saw a light br That shone so bright br It led many people br To become wonderful in sight. br br They marveled so gayly br At this beautiful new light br But somehow lost hope br As they drifted from the right. br br Their lights grew dim br As they went further down a road br Until they stopped br At a house of good abode. br br They reflected on the light br They led them so far br Then they remembered themselves br To lead others from the dark.
