Herbert Nehrlich - Prayer

Herbert Nehrlich - Prayer

They talked about the Golden Fleece br and kept on their small farm some geese br but only their pubescent niece br was kind enough to pray for peace. br br The hay inside the barn grew old br and grew the smell of musty mold. br One day the farm was simply sold br in an exchange for shiny gold. br br The niece stayed back to hope and pray br the geese fell ill to her dismay. br Their cattle ate the rotten hay br and died as someone had to pay. br br The Gods sent storms and heavy rain br to wash away the tears and pain br the farm blew down, the end was plain br Gods always seem to act in vain. br br The praying niece was suffocated br all life had been obliterated. br The Devil though had contemplated br that Heaven was quite overrated. br br Is there a lesson here to learn? br Imprinted like a rubber burn. br For those whose introvert concern, br to pray.
