Göran Gustafsson - The Highlands

Göran Gustafsson - The Highlands

You came here empty minded br In this weary world one day br To shape a soul out of body br As the potter moulds out of clay br br You walk this lonesome valley br And your feet is getting sore br When you think you made it home br You have to walk a little more br br You rest yourself in meadows green br And pray the sun to heal the scar br Then onwards on your journey br Unto the quest that waits afar br br You wade in the winding river br And you try to find the key br To the flow of living water br That will open your eyes to see br br You came here empty handed br And nothing will ever remain br Other than what will come br From giving life back again br br But somewhere 'yond the mountains br 'cross the valleys and the sea br There is something in the Highland br That calls for you to see br br Copyright © 2008 Göran Gustafsson.
