On the day I was converted br I felt my heart change br As my old mind exited br I knew nothing was the same. br br As Christ enfolded me in His arms br He had no remorse br For the way He embraced me br I felt my life change course. br br For my anger, He gave me tranquility br For my sorrow, He gave me joy br For my hatred, He gave me love br And for this He was not annoyed. br br For my foolishness, He gave me wisdom br For my impotence, He gave me understanding br For my immorality, He gave me morals br And for this He never spoke demanding. br br For my doubts, He gave me assurance br For my weaknesses, He made me strong br For my insecurities, He gave me confidence br And for this it didn't take Him long. br br For my confusion, He gave me peace br For my distraughfulness, He gave knowledge to my soul br For my unworthiness, He cleansed me br And for this He made me whole. br br For my frailties, He gave me power br For my disabilities, He gave me vision br For my failures and heartbreaks, He restored me br And all this from an humble decision. br br To live for Him and to love Him br To share a life of christianity br To do as He commands br And to share in spreading humanity.
