Lonnie Hicks - A Seduction of Ada

Lonnie Hicks - A Seduction of Ada

It was his hand br as we sat side by side; br he waved it br as a flag br waves in a breeze. br br The fingers arched br and flowed br up br down br and up again; br br pausing at one time br then moving again. br br I looked into his eyes br and his eyes slanted br to his hand br saying look again. br br I looked to notice that hand br was spelling a name br or saying br with each finger br lettering br where I could see br an 'I' br br and crooked L br and O br a V br an E br a U. br br He was so close I could br feel his body move br with each letter formed. br br Enraptured, br I swayed with him br in this lettering br on the M br A br R br R br Y br M br E br and the crooked finger br question mark. br br How could you not br love a man like this? br I did: br and I spelled it out br for him too br Y br E br S br br My fingers swayed br in that loving breeze br and does still today.
