Lonnie Hicks - Splatters of Regained Hope

Lonnie Hicks - Splatters of Regained Hope

A rainbow fell down today br crashed into a million pieces br of rainbow light br and no one noticed. br br There was Hope being br mugged quietly br but it was ok br because there was no scene; br so no one noticed br and that made it ok. br br I am sure that all saw br Desperation Eyes br staring; br br but you know br only so much of this can be taken; br after a while br it is not real br only a movie br on the TV screen. br br Child Dreams br were checked out br of the Library br and marched br straight to the br Lost and Found br to Dream Orphanages. br br Even the Black Crepe br we hang br cries. br br So much there is to do br so much br to be done br to end the suffering: br br might as well start at home. br br I am committed this year br to Rain-Bow Repair. br I'll fix the Rainbow Pieces br making them into Stained Glass br and sell them everywhere br use the proceeds for br Hope victims who are wise br and can counsel others br to stay away from those br who mug our hopes br in alley-ways. br br Desperate Eyes br can spot other br Desperate Eyes; br act as guides br back to Innocence. br br I'll turn off the TV set br and go into my community br and deal with real people. br br I know where the Orphanages are br and I know what to do. br br I need to lighten up br my Black Crepe br maybe br with some Rainbow Colors: br br Splatters of br Reclaimed Hope.
