I saw today a few brave daffodils, br Faces down toward the sodden grassy br Woodland patch, . I gently lifted up still br Youthful bloom and gazed within. Fantastic br Early blaze of Spring looked back. Meeting br Both my awestruck eyes and soul, it's plea bid br Me enter deep into this flowers' greeting. br br Yellows, conjured from the winters' soil undid br Their secret opulence and shone, lighting br Up surrounding gloom with brightest glowing br Song of something new. Bursting so they might br Transform the day of any who felt low. br br I shall take a later walk, to the sea br Of yellow soon to blossom there for me.
