Philip Lore - The Wild Wild West

Philip Lore - The Wild Wild West

Early each morning, br After my chores are done, br I saddle my horse, br Ride into the sun. br br Over West Texas trails, br Got a ten gallon hat, br Spurs on my boots, br Follow old railroad rails, br I'm back in the saddle, br Back to my roots. br Feet locked in the stir-ups, br With my ole cowboy boots. br br Goldie, my horse is gentle and tame, br Ride her easy, don't want her lame. br Stop for a drink, at the mouth of a brook, br Dismount from my saddle, br Take in a long look. br br Mountain tops covered with snow on a ridge, br Amazed at the workmanship of an old wooden bridge. br A gentle breeze brings such a sweet zest, br Just me and Goldie, br Its really the best, br Riding the dusty old trails, br In the Wild, Wild, West.
