Up above the sky br In the faces of aloof stars br I see images of my dreams br Ever growing in stature br My aspirations br Larger-than-life br br Sometimes, I wonder br whether I have devised my dreams br or dreams have invented me? br Years passed by, br among my endless dreams br a few came true br and many fell through br But, each of my dying dreams br gave birth to a new one br Though, br My hairs threaten to turn white now br and wrinkles tardily become possessive br My eyesight warns me of an eternal sunset br and smiles often betrays my true feelings; br yet, I dare to dream! br and wish to chase it br beyond the horizon br br It's true! br I love chasing my dreams br I wanna catch up with br the flying butterflies br I wanna talk to my shadow br during the fading lights br I wanna hold forever br the illusive rainbows br And, br I wanna chase my dreams br until my own fantasies br take control of myself br and my desperations br make me feel that br 'reality hurts'br br Deependra Kumar Jhabr br
