Leo Yankevich - Epistle from the Dark

Leo Yankevich - Epistle from the Dark

Lost in your catacombs, I’ve uncovered br the dank walls of effaced fishes. Branded br by the infidels above, I’ll never br leave the ensconcing darkness. I’m stranded— br br here, lukewarm and famishing for real food, br the kind that Origin, that Eunuch, says br will hoist my shackled soul out of the brute br prison of my body. Here, dark are my days, br br but what slight light there is, is oh so bright. br I’ve befriended forgotten patriarchs, br (those modest moles who’ve found peace in your night) . br I’ve shed my last aesthetic tears and parts, br br accepted the mercy of my sentence, br and would truly believe, in you, if not br for my ineffectual prayers. Silence br is all I hear, my fabulous dear God.
