The warming sunshine on my back br And a light breeze blowing my gold hair br I sit on a bridge over a cool crystal stream br My feet explore the shiny rocks below br His protecting arms around me tight br To keep all harm from finding me here br br He leans over and kiss me softly br As I watch and listen to the scene unfold br Upon a lush tree near the sparkling waters edge br A little sparrow chirps its enlightening song br And a colorful butterfly flutters its wings br As it enjoys the nectar of a flower nearby br br We begin to walk the waters edge, hand in hand br Occasionally splashing each others legs br We never speak, letting the words of our hearts br Speak aloud through the air and the stream br Before I realize it the sun has slipped away br Lighting the horizon with oranges and pinks br br We lay down in a lush, green meadow br And watch a whitetail deer and a fawn br As they nibble at the tender blades of grass br Before returning to the safety of the forest.
