Planted weeks ago br At the onset of spring br The seasonal sapling br Ranunculus br Blossomed a new minimo br That greeted the fragrant wind br Whispered in a flow br Usually red, pink, aquatic, br Orange and yellow br But it was white br Like corrugated ball of snow br And surprisingly changed br It's hue to mauve or so br As it grew slow and slow br With this unique br Feature and beauty br It gave a warm glow br The friendly breeze, br Birds, butterflies, bees br Dad and co br Together they looked br Enchanting and sociable br And praised it's br Colorful transformation br And amused the viewers br By putting up a good show.
