i am at my journeys end br looking back at my life, family, friends. br br all my life i tried to be, smiling, happy, and carefree. br but! at times life throws you a curve ball br just to see if you have the gall. br br to turn your life completly around br and to see if you have found. br all the beauties that GOD has given to us. br if in him we put our trust. br br the curve ball is not to strike you out br but to see if you'll fight that bout. br br the fight is not physical br but a raging war within you br so that you may see, right from wrong br and to grow big and strong. br br this is the life that i am seeing br and this is the life that i'm not believing. br so many times i had the chance to br pick up the slack. br but i refused, and turned my back. br br what must it take for us to see br the love from our family. br in life we all need a helping hand br let's just stop and take a stand. br we can not do everything in life alone br that is something that is shown. br br even CHRIST needed help br so to the apostles, the cards he dealt. br he showed the apostles that if their belief is great. br the words they teach, is not too late. br br like everyone else, i see the journeys end br but! through my poetry- i found my friends. br we do not have to do special deeds br ' just help someone that's in need'. br br this is what GOD wants us to learn br it is time we take our turn. br let us keep the children in sight br when we pick up our pens-' and start to write'. br br if we could save just one child through our words br then we'll know that we've been heard. br ' poetry is the key' br to set a childs mind free.
