Dónall Dempsey - ' ' ' ' ' PATHETIC FALLACY(for Byran)

The sky is lonely br br stands aloof from br its clouds br br that look like br two stuck on cotton wool balls. br br Quietness leaks br into the scene br br staining it br the colour of forever. br br A willow weeps br to itself. br br A fountain sobs. br br Sobs. br br Such pathetic br fallacy br br as if I were walking through br a text book of figures of speech br br filled full br with striking examples. br br I, however am br surprisingly happy. br br A bird br thinking it's Duchamp or Dali br br draws a quick moustache br with its fanciful flight br br on the sky's startled br face. br br Me & the lake br laughing.
