Jacqualine Williams Rippy - I WISH

Jacqualine Williams Rippy - I WISH

I wish there was a place for me br Where all the flowers grow br And life was treasured as a valuable br A price far more than gold. Where children played and sang of joy br Of what love meant to each br A mountain higher and steep to climb br But not far out of reach. And in this place the days were as infinity br The nights crept by unnoticed br for happiness was an abundant reservoir br And peace was its caretaker and hostess. So much for my dreams or desires br It's hard for me to visualize or insist br For what I'm speaking of in terms of life br Is not much more than, a wish.
