I fell from the path that was once my road br tumbling down the hill in a hole I rolled br though light remained br I shut my eyes and believed only darkness I gained br truth was hidden from my face br passion escaped my grace br oh I wondered how my freedom was a waste br my soul seemed to be misplaced br loneliness crept in like a thief at night br the days became impolite br I tried to climb but diligence was not my friend br hope, my dear heart started to suspend br eyes still shut like heaven gates to evil doers br sitting on the thrown like emperors br but minus the thrown, then just sitting br at this era death seemed to be fitting br suddenly my wisdom screamed, ''open your eyes foolish one!
