Jeffrey Liminsang - Shall I compare thee to a mid-summer day?

Shall I compare thee to a mid-summer day? br Thou art more pretty and more endless: br Rough winds do shake the beloved blossom of June, br And mid-summer hath all too short of a vitality: br Sometimes too humid for the eyes to glimpse, br And often its tin and gilt are fuzzy; br And from fair to fair its loveliness has decreased, br By chance or nature’s changing course is lost; br But thy unending splendour shall not weaken br Nor lose thy chattel on thy golden charm; br Nor shall thy deceased brag thou drift in its darkness, br When in eternal metre thou shine: br So long as humanity can breathe or eyes can see, br So long live this and this give life to theebr br Jeffrey Liminsangbr br
