Bill Simmons - I Saw Him Cry

Bill Simmons - I Saw Him Cry

Today I saw… br A grown man, he cried br I wanted to say the hurt would go away br But I knew if I did I would lie br br His grief stricken face seemed so displaced br It was though someone had died br I knew not what else to do br So I sit down right there at his side br br Sometimes words… br Just sometimes don’t need to be heard br I placed the palm of my hand over his hand br And somehow I could feel the hurt br br He sighed for a moment and dried his eyes br Said thank you for all that it’s worth br Sometimes when you cry, someone at your side br Is all that you need on this earth br br I saw the old man, I saw him cry br I saw a grown man, he cried today br And somehow I found, he left something with me br Today when he walked away br br Sometimes in this life when we find br We just need to have a good cry br Sometimes on this earth, for all that it’s worth br We just need someone at our side.
