Bill Simmons - A Christmas Song

Bill Simmons - A Christmas Song

The children know where the cold wind blows and it snows br They write letters to a man, the North pole br In hopes a glimpse, to see him in his flight br Riding his sleigh, dressed in red, trimmed in white br br Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes br They will lay awake and listen for the sound br The jingle of his sleigh, Santa is on his way br The Reindeer hoofs upon the roofs when he comes down br br The twinkling lights gleaming bright on the Christmas tree br Stockings hung with care, on every chimney br They will try to stay awake, till the dreams over-take br Looks like a Merry Christmas to me br br Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes br Riding his sleigh, dressed in red, trimmed in white br They anticipate, hardly can they wait br To see the man riding the wind when he takes his flight br br Guided by a Reindeer with a bright and glowing nose br In just one night, he will make good his flight br And all around the world, visit every boy and girl br Bringing gifts of love to all on Christmas night br br Just ask any boy or girl, they know br What it means to hear sleigh bells in the snow br They will try to stay awake till the dreams over-take br Over the tops of trees, they hope to see him as he goes br br Merry Christmas and a HO, HO, HO, the children know he goes br They will lay awake and listen for the sound br The jingle of his sleigh, Santa is on his way br The Reindeer hoofs upon the roofs when he comes down br br Mom and dad holding hands, each other close br As they walk in the snow on Christmas Eve br The twinkling lights gleaming brightly on every Christmas tree br Looks like a Merry Christmas to me.
