Brittany Film Festival br at a little rendevouz br four haiku poets br br France br August 21,2006: The week-long Festival de Cinéma in the Brittany town of Douarnenez draws 22,000 visitors to take part in screenings, discussions, exhibitions, literary gatherings, and concerts. Each year, the festival features cinematic talents from a particular area of the world. This year, from August 19 to 26, the theme is “Peuples des Balkans, ” with a focus on the history and national identities of the Balkan region.
