June K. Vargo - Pressed Against A Nimbus Sky

June K. Vargo - Pressed Against A Nimbus Sky

It was the tenth month of the year as the leaves were beginning to change br And am apple tree caught my eye. br Red, golden and green were the colors br Pressed against a nimbus sky. br No artist's brush could have capture it br The colors were perfectly blended. br Only God could create that magnificent work br Exactly as he had intended. br As I stood there watching that illusion, a young and pretty girl br passed me by. br Her long and golden hair blew freely in the October wind, the realness br of that mirage br Pressed against a nimbus sky. br I dared not speak ... ner'y a work did I utter br As she sauntered past my side. br Never! Never in a month of Sunday would I surmise br that she would one day be my bride. br We met a later date in time br Mutual love filled each our eye. br Promising forever. forsaking never... our precious love br Pressed against a nimbus sky.br br June K.
