Fay Slimm - Summer's Song.

Fay Slimm - Summer's Song.

Awakened, we will, br Along the rill of summer's edge, br Find the glory of sound. br br Light of foot, treading br On airy, hallowed, woodland ground, br We sense summer pledging br Our delight. We may, br By not straying far, hear striking br A stone with shell, the thrush, br Breakfasting. Or catch br The twitter of chicks in rushes, br Being fed. Trout rising, br Resonate the stream br With rippled trills. A blackbird sings br Nearby and thrills the air, br And seed pods explode. br br Summer sings loud, and we, sharing br By ear, hear hidden things.
