Buried under ivy, behind a garden shed br i came across a rocking chair, painted shocking red br the legs were loose, the back was broke, it was in a sorry state br the seat broken in three pieces, was holding up the gate br i took it to my workshop, and left it out to dry br then removed the leaded paint work, the dust it made me high! br i sanded the spindles on the lathe, then glued up the seat br assembled it all together, and varnished to a treat br I test drove that rocking chair, its as good as new br it now needs a loving home, and i know just who! br a young mum is breast feeding, her baby on the stair br i think some memories can still be made, in this old rocking chairbr br Bob Gibsonbr br
