A Rose br by Rehana Mohammadi br A lovely rose with petals soft br A scent so sweet and light br So beautiful a flower br With colors shining bright. br But something not so savory br About the fragrant rose - br The thorns, so sharp upon the stem, br That sharpen as it grows. br Yet still lovely is the flower br Despite the thorns that prick br Just as life and love are sweet br They too have thorns that stick. br But do not fear to live or love, br Life's not exempt from pain - br So pick a rose, you may get hurt, br But you will also gain! br rehanamd2007@yahoo.
