Why wait until old or frail br Before asking whence we came? br Were we, before we appeared here br On earth some bright star? Endearing br To many is that we, aware br Of earth's real need, chose this caring br Role. Heart beating love towards all br Will bring peace, but does not recall br The true state we dwelt in back then. br At times, the mind seems to sense when br There was no earthy form folding br Wraps around our radiant soul. br Was our whole spirit revolving br Around lovelight and life, solving br This problem of place, as above br Us, pervading all, was Pure Love br Weaving true peace? Asked then to prove br We could become earth-bound, and move br When invited, to bring again br Whispers from God, do we remain? br When we know heaven is not far br And never forget who we are. br Can we be true? If so we know br There is so much more work to do.
