London Love Poems - Morning Coffee

London Love Poems - Morning Coffee

As I sit here br sipping my coffee. br You're still br here with me, but br only in memory. br br The thing br I find so hard br is the need br in wanting to br hold you. br br But I know I can't. br br I have to remind br myself that br you're gone. br br And that I must br accept in-order br to move on. br br The first thing br on my mind as I wake br is the memory br of you, which I br find so difficult br to take. br br Another year gone br and I'm still br living with the pain. br br Knowing how much br my life has changed br and without br you here, it doesn't br feel the same. br br I've no more tears to cry. br br Yet my heart br still weeps inside. br br The pain br of losing you br becomes so unbearable br sometimes, I wish br the ground would br open up and I'd fall inside. br br I know I've br got to be strong. br br So that the memory br of you can br continue to live on. br br But, when I br think of the tears br I've cried br and how much br my heart misses br you inside. br br I struggle, but still br manage to raise a smile. br br If I could wish br for anything, It would br be to have br you here with me. br br But I know br that'll never happen br and that's what destroys me. br br I only have the memory br of you to keep me company. br br As I sit here without you. br br Sipping my coffee. br br br br br © Jon.
