After the re-installation, br Out the Deity was taken br For the street procession, br On an auspicious occasion. br br All the mischief mongers, br Including his elder brother, br Expressing a word of regret, br Fell at the feet of the Saint. br br What a great Soul he was. br Lately they realized this. br “It’s all the act of Rama, ” br So said Saint Thyagaraja. br br (He sang in Raga Vasantha br Etlaa Dhorikidhivo Rama) br br “Rama, I got you back how, br When none is near me now? br Lord, I got you back how, br For me, when none has love? ” br br “Is it a wonder of your feet? br Or is it the strange result br Of my elders’ blessings br Or my love for divine songs.” br br ‘Oh Consort of Lakshmi, br Remover of my worry, br Oh My Lord Rama! br The Savior of Thyagaraja” br br “Lord, pardon the conspirators br Including my elder brother, br Who threw you in the river.” br Finally, he said this prayer. br br What a noble Saint he was, br To ask for pardon for those, br Who were criticizing him, br Over his actions, every time! br br br (The Deity which was thrown br into the river, is still available br in the house at 11407, br Varagappaiyer Street, Thanjavur.
