I’d like to write the most beautiful poem I could ever write in my lifetime, br A poem that tells how it feels in the skin the bright sun shine br And the sweet smell of the rice blossom brought by the wind br That makes us run to the clear river nearby and swim. br br I’d like to write the most beautiful poem of my lifetime br To put together all the beautiful memories that we once shared br The happiness that we thought beyond compare br And the twinkle in our eyes brought by our stares. br br The picnics that we had by the mango grove br And the long walks that we took in a nearby shore br As we sang our song as the sun set in the west br Are all now but sweet memories, of yesteryears. br br But how can I write the most beautiful poem of my lifetime? br Each time I try my heart bleed for the lost time, br The lost love, the lost hope, the lost dream br They all come to me each time and makes my vision dim br br It must have been destiny’s game br When you came along and my heart you tamed br Just to leave me when things are fine br And in isolation my heart shall confine.
