Lonnie Hicks - A Rainbow

Lonnie Hicks - A Rainbow

She's not the end of my rainbow br she's its beginning- br I am blinded by her colors- br br her red, crimson, blood-red lips br which promise fire and burn br into me with the furious fury of red river flows br she gives in her passion eddies. br br Her cheeks glow with that same tint br and floating high her aureola gleams br above violet eyes which stream br out and into deep my soul- br where our Rainbow Yellow lives. br br Joy is surely the color yellow; br we are joined-participled, br framed by her tresses of similar hue. br br Her orange is mellow light br and plunges down her dappled nape br to her nipples making them br orange-erect and wanting. br br Her body blood at center now br is violet and indigo; br blood flow now beneath her skin br glows with these; br two hues blending to announce br the purple promises she makes br with her body-scape br arched high br rainbow-shaped br making our colors blend; br and now the semi-circle is reversed br to allow me into her deeper hues. br br Outside the trees display green; br inside our rainbows sing br announcing br yet another new beginning. br br I catch me then a rainbow each day, br marvel at it br lying in my bed br translucent.
